Pen Pals Come to Catto School
Eighth grade students from William G. Rohrer Middle School in Westmont, NJ spent the day with their second grade pen pals here at Catto Community School. What a wonderful day!
Mrs. Aron's eighth graders from William G. Rohrer Middle School in Westmont, NJ spent Thursday, June 3 with their 2nd grade Pen Pals at Catto Community School. Mrs. Schwartz's second graders have been corresponding with their Pen Pals all year. Our day was terriffic!
The students day started out with a science experiment, "turning crystals to solids" introduced and facilitated by Mr. Mulligan (science teacher at Rohrer). Then the pen pals were off to the Tech Literacy Lab for a lively Fathers' Day multi media lesson with Ms. Butler, tech literacy teacher. Last but not least a delcious lunch catered by Dominoes Pizza and paid for by Rohrer Middle School students.
The students were thrilled to meet and greet their pen pals. A wonderful time was had by all!
